New 'Condense and Rotate' Printing Process for Select Journals
From the first issues of 2010, ten journals from Wiley-Blackwell will adopt a 'condense and rotate' printing process, also known as two-up printing. This means that they will present two pages of text for every one printed page. This new approach will reduce the carbon footprint associated with printing and distributing the journals by approximately 40%.
For 2010, issues in the following journals from life science, social science, and medicine will adopt this condense and rotate printing approach:
- Aquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems
- Ecology of Freshwater Fish
- Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental
- Hydrological Processes
- International Journal of Non Profit & Voluntary Sector Marketing
- International Journal of Selection and Assessment
- International Journal of Tourism Research
- Plant Breeding
- River Research and Applications
- Social Development
