ABSTRACT

A certificate concerning a transaction in cereal, inscribed in wood, and in Sabaean language is discussed here. The text was never completed. At the beginning of the text at least two words are missing. The reason was probably a mistake in line 2. Of particular interest is the dating. An eponym is mentioned, who was a contemporary of Šā'irum Awtar. It can be assumed that the text was written in the early 3rd ct. A.D.
