ABSTRACT

Summary—Fifty women with urinary incontinence due to derisory instability entered a controlled clinical trial to compare in-patient bladder drill with out-patient drug therapy. Following bladder drill, 84% of patients were continent, whereas following treatment with flavoxate hydrochloride and imipramine, 56% 01 patients were continent. Side effects due to drug therapy were significant.
