ABSTRACT

AbstractREFERENCES

Seven patients suffering from pustular bacterid were treated with intramuscular injections of triamcinolone acetonide aqueous suspension. All the patients responded to the treatment with suppression of signs and symptoms for periods varying from four to six weeks and even longer. Where corticosteroids had been previously administered orally, the intramuscular dose of triamcinolone calculated on a per day basis was one quarter of the oral dose. Side effects were minimal.
