String quartet: A dynamic assembly/reassembly process in octadecyl guanine (G) monolayers was triggered by addition of [2.2.2]cryptand, potassium picrate (K+(pic)-), and trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. The resulting structures, which alternate between a hydrogen-bonded G ribbon and a G quartet, were monitored by STM at the solid-liquid interface on graphite (see picture).

Q: I have a reference for the German edition of Angewandte, how do I find the article in the International Edition (and vice versa)?
A1: In Wiley InterScience, locate the article in the German edition and click on "Find articles in Wiley InterScience written by any of the authors" at the bottom of the abstract page. Of course, this also works the other way.
A2: Use the CrossRef search form, enter only "Angewandte" as a title, the first author's name and the year of publication.
Articles are published electronically in the EarlyView section several weeks ahead of print without page numbers or issue assignment. Until then, please quote them by their online publication date and DOI (both mentioned on an article's abstract page). See EarlyView articles.
